Contact me with any questions you may have. I'll make sure you understand the process and enjoy the journey.

FAQ
How many pictures will we receive?
Depending on the session type selected, the number of digital photos in the description will be made available for download. A print release will be included, although we highly suggest ordering from our professional print lab for the best possible quality.
What’s the best time of day to have a photoshoot?
In the studio, any time of day is good since we use lighting to assist in the look we want to achieve. If the photo shoot is outdoors, morning and later afternoon hours are great for lighting. However, there are subject placements that photographers can utilize in full sun to get some great shots.
How should we dress for our photo session?
When choosing what to wear for a photoshoot, you can consider things like:
Color
Darker colors make the subject look slimmer, while lighter colors work well in nature. You can try wearing flattering colors near your face (pastels, purple, brown). Consider avoiding bright colors (red, bright pink, bright green) as these draw attention away from your face. If you're wearing black, keep in mind that black absorbs light, making details less visible.
PATTERNS
Small intricate patterns can draw attention and cause a strobing effect. If you want to wear patterns, try pairing them with solid colors.
STYLE
This is a personal decision and can be causual or dressy casual. Long flowy dresses are great for adding movement to images.
Be careful with messages on shirts.
If you would like to display images year-round, try not to wear clothing that relates to a specific season or holiday.
ENVIRONMENT
If shooting outdoors, consider if your clothing will compliment the natural environment. For example, pale yellow and pale blue work well with jeans or khaki pants in natural settings.
We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?
Here are a few suggestions to help you feel more comfortable during your session.
* Choose a location where you feel a connection to make you more comfortable.
* We can just hang out at the loction for a little bit before starting the photoshoot. I love getting to know my clients!
* Include a personal prop (or simply something to hold in your hand) to make you feel more comfortable.
We make it our mission to focus on your comfort and give you a great photoshoot experience!
